The Office of the Auditor General will soon be looking for people who are up to the challenge…
The Office of the Auditor General (OAG) serves the public interest by providing Parliament with independent and impartial information about public sector accountability and performance.
In these challenging economic times, the OAG’s role is more critical than ever. As the Auditor of the Western Australian Public Sector, the Office ensures that government agencies deliver services in an equitable, efficient and effective manner.
Our findings and opinions are published in rigorous reports to Parliament, prepared by our audit teams.
To ensure the future continuity of the OAG’s professional audit workforce, we run a Graduate Development Program for promising graduates in finance, accounting and commerce.
New graduates receive an intensive induction, followed by ongoing professional development over a planned three-year period, including support in undertaking studies to attain qualified accountant status.
Completion of the program opens up a wide window of opportunity in financial auditing, information systems auditing, compliance and performance auditing.
If you wish to discuss the Office's Program, please call our Human Resource Manager, Paula Skittlethorpe on 9222 7572. |
